Frequently Asked Questions

There are always a lot of questions when it comes to fitness. Below are answers to some of the most common questions I’ve received. There are obviously a lot more questions, so feel free to get in touch with me and ask away.

WHERE DO YOU TRAIN CLIENTS?

The answer to this can vary greatly and is dependent on the person I am training. However, I mostly train people from The Gym Group based in Southend on Sea. I also have a large variety of portable equipment enabling me to come to people's homes and have them train in the comfort of their own home or garden. This also allows me in the warmer months to hold training sessions in local parks and public spaces.

WHAT IS YOUR TRAINING STYLE?

I adapt training to the individual dependant on their goals. It would not make sense to train a 60 year old women looking to lose a stone  the same way I would trim an 18 year old athlete looking to compete in a powerlifting competition. That being said I believe it is important to introduce new variants of training every couple of months to keep your body guessing what's coming next and allowing it to continually adapt.

DO YOU OFFER NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLANS?

Personal Trainer's should not provide diet plans or nutritional guidance unless specifically qualified to provide this. However, what I can do is provide you with dietary habits which will allow you to encompass recognised and evidence based healthy eating guide lines.
